The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily staffing assignments and ensuring continuity of client services. This role manages scheduling operations, responds to call-offs, supports new hire staffing placement, and collaborates with internal departments to maintain workforce alignment and service stability. The Staffing Coordinator exercises independent judgment in real-time staffing situations while maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Prior staffing or scheduling experience required; home care experience preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare or workforce operations preferred.
Ability to pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background study.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule employees for client service assignments.
Respond to call-offs and urgent coverage needs to ensure service continuity.
Participate in rotating on-call coverage as assigned.
Meet with new hires following EVV training to review availability and coordinate client placement.
Collaborate with the Designated Manager and Clinical team regarding service changes, client needs, and staffing alignment.
Communicate workforce needs and coverage gaps to the Recruiter to support hiring efforts.
Maintain accurate and real-time scheduling documentation within company systems to ensure payroll and billing accuracy.
Provide operational input regarding attendance patterns and workforce performance trends as requested.
Address routine scheduling concerns and escalate employment-related issues to the Staffing Manager or Human Resources as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable federal and state regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position provides operational direction to field staff related to scheduling and service assignments. This role does not have direct authority over hiring, formal discipline, termination, or compensation decisions.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Be eighteen (18) years of age.
Possess current staffing experience, preferably staffing in home care.
Be knowledgeable of medical terminology or a general medical background desirable.
