PCS-HOMECARE | STAFFING COORDINATOR

Remote | Part-Time | $25/hour
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–11:00 AM | 20 hours/week


PCS-Homecare is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Staffing Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling and ensure consistent coverage for our homecare clients.


Responsibilities

• Respond to caregiver call-outs and arrange replacement coverage.
• Fill same-day and future open shifts.
• Coordinate vacations, time-off requests, and schedule changes.
• Maintain the monthly master schedule and caregiver availability.
• Review upcoming 7–14 days for potential staffing gaps.
• Communicate schedule changes with caregivers, clients, and management.
• Document scheduling activity in the appropriate system.
• Monitor overtime and escalate unresolved coverage issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Reliable availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM.
• Comfortable handling urgent staffing needs.
• Experience in homecare, healthcare staffing, scheduling, dispatch, or workforce coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with EVV/homecare scheduling systems is a plus.
