PCS-HOMECARE | STAFFING COORDINATOR
Remote | Part-Time | $25/hour
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–11:00 AM | 20 hours/week
PCS-Homecare is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Staffing Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling and ensure consistent coverage for our homecare clients.
Responsibilities
- Respond to caregiver call-outs and arrange replacement coverage.
- Fill same-day and future open shifts.
- Coordinate vacations, time-off requests, and schedule changes.
- Maintain the monthly master schedule and caregiver availability.
- Review upcoming 7–14 days for potential staffing gaps.
- Communicate schedule changes with caregivers, clients, and management.
- Document scheduling activity in the appropriate system.
- Monitor overtime and escalate unresolved coverage issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Reliable availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM.
- Comfortable handling urgent staffing needs.
- Experience in homecare, healthcare staffing, scheduling, dispatch, or workforce coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with EVV/homecare scheduling systems is a plus.
