Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse III
Location: Keene, NH – 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $47.00–$44.00/hour
Duration: 4 Months
Schedule: 24 hours/week, ideally 3 days/week, 8-hour shifts

Provide occupational nursing care to employees, including illness and injury assessments, vital signs, treatment, medical interventions, documentation, and follow-up within RN scope of practice. Support workplace medical emergency response, workers’ compensation and disability case management, absence management, return-to-work accommodations, FMLA medical documentation, regulatory surveillance exams, occupational health programs, pandemic preparedness, external occupational medical providers, and medical inventory management. Maintain treatment records in compliance with OSHA and applicable privacy/confidentiality requirements.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 5+ years of nursing experience

• Active, current state RN license

• Current CPR Certification

• Occupational health nursing experience preferred

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

• OSHA occupational health and safety documentation

• Employee illness and injury assessment

• Workers’ Compensation case management

• Disability and absence management

• Return-to-work and work accommodation management

• FMLA medical documentation and tracking

• Regulatory medical surveillance examinations

• Emergency response program support

• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)

• Certified Occupational Health Nurse – Specialist (COHN-S)

• Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience

• Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience

• Manufacturing occupational health experience

• Corporate health environment experience

• Workplace health and safety program experience
