Job Summary

The Workforce Planning Staffing Specialist is responsible for reviewing and approving driver qualification files (DQFs) for a geographic region to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and company regulations. This role involves verifying driver documentation, identifying compliance deficiencies and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, audit and approve Driver Qualification (DQ) files for completeness and regulatory compliance for new CDL driver candidates.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or non-compliant documentation
  • Maintain electronic records in accordance with company policies and federal regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, and Recruiting teams to ensure timely collection of required documents and approval for hire.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and driver qualification regulations preferred.
