Stage Manager

The Neptune Stage Manager will work in concert with the Neptune Theater Manager.  Including, but not limited to: Production Advance, Day-of-Show Load In & Load Out, Run-of-Show, Developing & Implementing Venue Policy & Procedure.  They will also be the point person all Production, Stage Equipment, the Stage and its support areas for all shows at the Neptune Theater.  This is a full-time position with medical, dental, vision, Life, LTD, and STD insurance and paid time off.  This position earns between $37 and $40/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage & assist with all aspects of Stage Operations on Night-of-Show, from Load In through Load Out.
• See toTour’s production needs and be in direct contact with Tour’s Production and/or Tour Manager via cell phone, email and in-person communication on Day-of-Show.
• Ensures adherence to day schedule, breaks, manages crew and safe work environment.
• Maintains the stage area to provide a safe and clean work environment.
• Manages and hands on during show operations to ensure safe and smooth operation.
• Distribute and explain DOS production needs to all Production Staff.
• Assistwith planning and execution of Venue Policies & Procedures
• Assist with New Hire paperwork and New Hire orientation.
• Will work with the Technical Director on all updates and continuing Maintenanceschedules of stage operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have working knowledge of Traditionalstage equipmentand departments
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Ability to work with a team in all aspects of interaction (House Crew, Over hire Crew, Road Crew, and Clients) 
• Ability to work with the Technical Directorwithwork duties and priorities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities of a show and fluctuating schedule in a positive manner.
• Ability to worka safe and predictable manner under stressful conditions and long hours.
• Ability to be proactive in work assignments and work independently.
• Ability to work with Resident art organizations in a positive and collaborative way to reach commongoals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
