Job Description:


Provide overall and direct supervision of stage/technical aspects of events in all UFPA venues as assigned. Review event specifications and participate in production planning meetings. Ensure all technical personnel have needed resources and are staying within the limits of the client’s contract.


Plan, develop and implement technical requirements for events as assigned. Communicate with visiting personnel, artists and crew to review event technical specifications and coordinate with technical director to secure needed resources for those events. Communicate as needed with visiting personnel to coordinate event technical requirements.


Anticipate and implement necessary work in preparation for UFPA events utilizing UFPA OPS technical employees as assigned


Assist other technical staff in organization, upkeep, and maintenance of UFPA facilities and equipment.


For events as assigned, provide written reports of progress of event work and building status per shift supervised and distribute as instructed.


Communicate standards for safe work processes; document practices and training; ensure use of safe work practices.


monitor inventory and requisition additional supplies when needed



assist with the schedule of UFPA technical employees








Expected Salary:

$21.55 - 24.90 per hour; commensurate with experience



Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and six years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.



Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with tour production through facilities of similar type and size


Ability to work at significant heights for extended periods of time


Utilize industry standard safety procedures and equipment


Knowledge of Stage Production, Rigging, Carpentry, Audio, Video, and Lighting
