Join us!Job Description: The Standard Channel Underwriter role is responsible for credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients in partnership with the client team. Key responsibilities include managing transactions in a high-volume national queue of Business Banking clients, completing and reviewing credit analysis, evaluating risks, and writing financial analysis. Products include lines of credit, term loans, and real estate loans. This job includes responsibilities for structuring, negotiating, documenting credit analysis, independently assessing historic and projected borrower financial information, evaluating adherence to policy and procedure, providing loan structure analysis and recommendations, and monitoring portfolio performance. Responsibilities:Supports both underwriting and monitoring in a high-volume national workflow queueIndependently works with Relationship Managers and Solutions Advisors to understand structuring needs and requirementsDelivers financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic, and other analyses to team members to support the loan decision-making processUnderwriters have single signature authority for certain credit transactionSkills:Attention to DetailCredit and Risk AssessmentFinancial AnalysisUnderwritingWritten CommunicationsAnalytical ThinkingFinancial ModelingRecording/Organizing InformationBusiness AcumenCollaborationCollateral ManagementLoan StructuringPrioritizationRequired Qualifications:2+ years of solid Commercial Banking experienceExperience in financial analysis, structuring, and underwritingAnalytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuringStrong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externallyIndustry knowledge across multiple sectors Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalentShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
