The Starbucks Manager leads the in-store Starbucks operation, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, outstanding customer service, and strong financial performance. This role is responsible for daily operations, partner development, and maintaining brand standards while creating a welcoming and engaging caf experience.

Department Operations

• Oversee all Starbucks operations including beverage preparation, food service, and inventory management
• Ensure full compliance with Starbucks brand standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, and waste control
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked work and service areas

Customer Experience

• Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging caf environment
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and food items
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Encourage partner (employee) engagement to enhance the overall experience

Team Leadership & Development

• Hire, train, and develop Starbucks partners
• Provide coaching on beverage standards, customer service, and speed of service
• Create effective schedules based on business trends and staffing needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused culture

Financial Performance

• Drive sales through product quality, speed, and suggestive selling
• Manage labor, inventory, and waste to meet financial targets
• Monitor key performance metrics including sales, margin, and productivity

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Follow all Starbucks and company operational policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe work environment for partners and customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous coffee shop, food service, or retail management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Starbucks operations and beverage preparation is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a caf environment with exposure to heat, noise, and equipment use
