The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal, full time Starbucks Supervisor to join our team at Grand Canyon National in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. As a Starbucks Supervisor, you will oversee store operations, provide direction to team members, and contribute to Starbucks' success by providing legendary customer service to all guests. What will you do?

  • Supervise team members and complete store operational needs by assigning team members and following up on work results.
  • Train and coach to service and operational standards, company policies, and procedures for both Starbucks and Delaware North.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and Delaware North.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace, provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products

More about you

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not required
  • Cash handling and working with point of sale (POS) system experience
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

Physical requirements

  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on the season
  • May be required to work in small or narrow spaces
  • Noise level may be moderate-to-high during busy times
