Job Summary
Stash House by JARS is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Store Associates to join our team. As a Retail Store Associate, you'll be the face of the store-providing outstanding customer service, supporting daily operations, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection
Operate POS systems, including cash handling and card transactions
Upsell products and suggest complementary items to enhance the customer experience
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
Stock shelves, organize inventory, and assist with stock management
Answer customer questions and resolve concerns in a timely, professional manner
Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and inventory counts
Maintain store cleanliness and follow all safety standards
Support supervisors and team members during high-traffic periods
Requirements
Previous smoke shop or specialty retail experience preferred
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math
Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
18 + years old
Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales best practices
Friendly, dependable, and customer-service driven attitude
