Description & Requirements

Baker McKenzie seeks a current Tax 2027 LLM student for a part-time (15-20 hours per week, 9-12 months) law clerk position in their State and Local Tax practice. Candidates must have strong analytical and writing skills, exceptional speaking and interpersonal skills and the ability to function smoothly in a global-team environment with culturally diverse team members. Applicants must be planning to sit for and become admitted to the applicable state Bar. Please include a resume, JD transcripts, and a writing sample with your application.

Pay Transparency

• The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $115 hourly if located in an office in the state of Illinois or New York. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
