Systems Engineer - State Estimation & Target Tracking
Location: Baltimore, MD
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Overview
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer - State Estimation & Target Tracking to support the development and deployment of advanced sensor fusion and target tracking capabilities for next-generation multi-function RF systems.
In this role, you will contribute to the analysis, design, integration, and performance optimization of advanced radar and electronic surveillance systems. You will work across the system lifecycle, from requirements development and modeling through integration, testing, and field deployment in laboratory and flight test environments.

Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another STEM field with 8+ years of experience, OR
Masters degree with 6+ years of experience, OR
PhD with 4+ years of experience.
An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
Experience with:
Multi-target tracking algorithms
Sensor fusion technologies
Adaptive signal processing
MATLAB or similar programming and analysis tools
RF signal processing or RF-based applications
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
