State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a non-profit healthcare organization in Berea, OH to hire State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $20/hour based on experience and skill level. This role focuses on supporting adults with disabilities by ensuring their health, safety, and well-being while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to adults with disabilities in a compassionate and professional manner
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and document client health status, behaviors, and progress
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and maintaining independence
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as directed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
• Accompany and assist clients during recreational activities, appointments, and community outings
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, supervisors, family members, and team members
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow established care plans and safety procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Active STNA certification
• Previous STNA experience
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Current First Aid certification
• 1-Step TB Test, QuantiFERON Test, or Chest X-Ray completed within the last 10 months
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Strong communication, compassion, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
