Our Station Manager oversees the daily operations of our emissions station while creating a safe and customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with Envirotest's policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Interview, hire, onboard, and assist with the training of new employees, giving continuous coaching, feedback, and support.
- Supervise and assign tasks to employees to ensure the efficiency of the station.
- Create employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for station based on forecasted customer traffic and operational needs.
- Ensure emission inspections are conducted accurately and efficiently to minimize customer wait times.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation activities.
- Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
- Coordinate facility maintenance, including groundskeeping, snow removal, janitorial upkeep and painting.
- Promote a culture of safety by leading the station's Safety Program to ensure the safety of both employees and customers.
- Complete administrative paperwork related to station's operations and finances
- Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance with customer wait time expectations.
- Additional duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.
