A Snapshot Of Your DayBuild and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores.How You'll Make an Impact: Become familiar with all tools and equipment for generator core assembly.Perform fitting and assembly operations necessary to build and assemble complete cores, torque and tension bolts and hardware per drawings.Set up and operate robots, clean and detail cores.Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores.What You Bring: High school education or equivalent.Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.Proficiency with shop tools - grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose optimal tool for the task. Required to lift / move 50 lb. materials. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms. Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator. Must be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.The Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status required. Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests or any other as required to perform the duties.About the TeamGas ServicesOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
