Role Overview:
The Stay & Play Lead Specialist is
responsible for the daily management of all Stay & Play activities,
providing dedicated, personalized care, attention, and structured engagement to
each Stay & Play dog. This role requires excellent organizational skills,
efficiency in task management, and a strong focus on dog safety and quality
care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Independently manage daily schedules, including timely
let-outs, structured one-on-one enrichment activities, feedings, and report
card completion.
· Consistently handle 8-15 Stay & Play dogs per shift,
optimizing time by managing three dogs simultaneously in separate yards.
· Ensure all Stay & Play dogs are provided with quality
attention, appropriate engagement, and safe handling practices throughout the entirety
of your shift.
· Complete detailed report cards, maintain clear and
accurate records, and update notes promptly.
· Coordinate and communicate closely with Team Leads
regarding first/last let-outs, meals, and any special care requirements.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Stay &
Play areas, including yards, crates, and common spaces.
· Provide occasional support to the general team only after
all Stay & Play responsibilities are fully satisfied (this is not the
primary goal).
Required Qualifications & Attributes:
· Proven ability to safely manage multiple dogs of all sizes
and energy levels independently.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
· Effective communication and documentation abilities.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and proactive attitude.
· Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage dogs safely
during one-on-one and paired activities.
Work Schedule & Environment:
· Work is performed indoors and outdoors, requiring physical
stamina and endurance.
· Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and handling dogs of
all sizes and temperaments.
