Steakhouse Host/Hostess

• Greet guests promptly and graciously in a polished, professional manner

• Manage reservations and coordinate walk-in traffic.

• Strategically seat guests to optimize dining room flow and server sections.

• Maintain accurate wait times and communicate clearly with guests.

• Escort guests to tables and present menus as appropriate.

• Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

• Monitor dining room pace and adjust seating to maintain optimal guest experience.

• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with discretion and attention to detail.

• Maintain a pristine and organized host stand and entrance area.

• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous host/hostess or front-of-house experience in fine dining or upscale casual preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to providing elevated guest service and hospitality.

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
