This position involves assembling steel and exterior door components with precision and attention to detail using a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship skills, the ability to read a tape measure accurately, and experience working in a manufacturing or construction-related environment.Job Responsibilities
Assemble steel door units and related components according to specifications
Interpret work tickets and follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Measure materials and assemblies using a tape measure to ensure accuracy
Perform basic quality inspections on completed products
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support a safe and efficient production environment
Assist with additional assembly and production duties as needed
Requirements
Experience using basic hand and power tools required
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
Ability to visualize finished products during the assembly process
General construction or residential building knowledge is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
