We're looking for a Steel Estimator / Project Manager to help grow our structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication operations in the Bluffton / Savannah market.
This is not a back-office estimating role.
We need someone who can take a set of plans, build a real budget, win the work, and help support fabrication from buyout through the shop.
What you'll be doing:
Perform steel takeoffs (structural + misc metals)
Build project budgets (material, shop labor, install as needed)
Review bids and submit proposals
Support material procurement and vendor coordination
Help transition awarded work into fabrication
What we're looking for:
Experience in steel estimating, fabrication, or misc metals
Ability to read structural drawings
Understanding of how steel actually gets built (not just priced)
Tekla PowerFab / Tekla Structures experience is a strong plus
About the role:
Based in Ridgeland, SC (Bluffton / Savannah area)
$95K $110K base + performance bonus
High-impact position tied directly to growing our steel division
