Steel Fabrication Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee steel fabrication projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in miscellaneous metals fabrication, although candidates with solid experience in other areas of structural or steel fabrication will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage steel fabrication projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, detailers, fabrication teams, and field personnel
• Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Track project budgets, schedules, materials, and overall progress
• Communicate with customers and address project needs or issues
• Coordinate fabrication and delivery schedules
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Identify and resolve project challenges throughout the process

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within steel fabrication
• Miscellaneous metals fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Candidates with structural steel, ornamental metals, architectural metals, or other steel fabrication experience will also be considered
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and project plans
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
