As a Steel Recycling Metal Sorter & Yard Worker, you'll support daily operations by sorting scrap metals, maintaining yard cleanliness, and assisting with groundworkall while working outdoors in various weather conditions. What You'll Do As a Yard Worker & Metal Sorter, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting and sorting ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals to ensure proper separation
- Performing general clean-up and groundwork to keep the yard safe and organized
- Operating yard equipment and tools while following safety protocols
- Working outdoors in different weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability
- Assisting team members with yard cleanliness and safety standards
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical stamina to work outdoors and perform manual labor
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Prior yard work or recycling experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
