This role will serve as the business and functional lead for the implementation of Stellic, a student-centered platform supporting degree audit, academic planning, advising, and registration. The successful candidate will work closely with academic and administrative stakeholders, including advising teams and Registrar's Office leadership, while partnering with technical implementation and project teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with higher education administration, academic technology, degree audit, or advising systems implementation experience who enjoys working at the intersection of people, processes, and technology.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary business liaison between project/IT teams and functional stakeholders across academic advising, the Registrar's Office, and other university groups.
  • Gather and translate stakeholder needs into clear business and functional requirements.
  • Assess the business impact of technical decisions and help ensure solutions align with institutional needs.
  • Lead the onboarding of new colleges and departments into the Stellic platform.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and change management activities.
  • Partner with business and technical teams on rollout planning for registration functionality and other new features.
  • Help incorporate sequencing, resource dependencies, risks, timelines, and documentation into implementation plans.
  • Advocate for functional team and Registrar's Office resource needs and collaborate with project leadership to establish realistic timelines.
  • Develop and facilitate post-launch feedback processes and translate user feedback into prioritized system enhancements.
  • Facilitate and participate in governance and stakeholder meetings, including steering committees and advisory groups.
  • Identify competing priorities or cross-office challenges and help drive them toward resolution.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication across a decentralized university environment.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in higher education administration or academic technology.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with degree audit, academic advising, academic planning, or related higher education technology platforms.
  • Experience translating between technical teams and academic/administrative stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of higher education registration, degree audit, advising, or academic planning operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience leading or supporting change management in a decentralized organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder needs and priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience implementing or supporting Stellic.
  • Experience leading technology or process change within a large, highly decentralized university or higher education institution.
  • Experience working with Registrar's Offices, advising organizations, or academic leadership.
