The STEM Review Leader will coordinate and facilitate major-specific tutoring sessions for STEM Scholars prior to each STEM exam. This role involves collaborating with STEM Scholars and faculty to provide relevant study materials and support to enhance student success in science and math courses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plan, coordinate, and lead review sessions for STEM Scholars before each STEM exam.
Collaborate with STEM faculty to identify and compile relevant study materials.
Assist students in understanding key concepts and problem-solving strategies.
Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for STEM Scholars.
Monitor student participation and provide feedback to faculty as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
Junior or senior majoring in a science or math field.
Strong academic performance in relevant STEM courses.
Demonstrated leadership and tutoring experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty.
Must not hold another university paid position.
