STEM School High School Engineering and Computer Science TeacherPosition SummaryThe Dayton Regional STEM School Engineering teacher will instruct high school students in computer science classes. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree by August 1, 2026Must be licensed to teach in Ohio or qualify for alternative license by the start of the school yearOutstanding communication and collaborative skillsPreferred QualificationsAbility to integrate technology into the classroomExperience working with high school studentsProject-Based Learning (PBL) teaching experienceExperience with collaboration and cross-curricular integrationEssential FunctionsPlan and deliver course instruction for high school students – 75%Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses – 20%Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities – 5%Additional InformationPosition FTE: 100%.
