Ignite the next generation of scientists as a STEM Facilitator. In this role, you’ll bring jaw-dropping experiments to life and spark a lifelong curiosity in kids all over Long Island. Get ready to inspire young minds, lead hands-on labs, and make learning an absolute blast.
 
When and Where
      Start Date: As soon as possible
      Location: East Meadow & Nassau/Suffolk County
      Schedule: Monday-Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM
      Pay: $50,000 - $53,000 (Salary) + Benefits

What You Need
      Personality: Can work professionally in an office environment and is comfortable speaking and presenting in varying size groups of adults and children.
      Preschool or Elementary Age Experience: teaching, daycare, camp, or tutoring experience required.
      Organization: Can multitask, is detail oriented, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects at once.
      Independence: Can work independently, easily swap between different tasks, projects, and work under pressure.
      Transportation: Your own vehicle is required to transport a medium sized bin to the location you will be instructing.

Job Duties
      Sales: Booking, following up on, and confirming events via phone or email using online CRM systems and paper filing systems.
      Communication: Maintain positive relationships between schools’ administration, PTA, Libraries, and other agencies as appropriate.
      Event Coordination: Help organize school events, parent coordination, and special projects.
      Inventory: Maintain organization and keep inventory of materials in the office. Ensure all kits are prepared to go out with proper materials.
      Marketing: Develop and maintain social media and utilize Constant Contact for all marketing efforts both for e-blasts and registration by creating email campaigns.
      Teaching: Fill in the role as instructor as needed.

      Gas compensation: Travel reimbursement  for Suffolk County and additional monthly gas compensation provided.
 
Compensation: $50,000 - $53,000 + Benefits
