The STEM Tutor will provide one-on-one academic support to CH33 Post-9/11 Veteran students enrolled in STEM courses. The tutor will meet with students regularly to help them understand course material, answer questions, and work through challenging assignments or problems. The overall purpose of the position is to help Veteran students improve their academic performance and successfully complete their STEM courses.
Essential Functions
Provides one-on-one tutoring to Veteran students in STEM courses.
Explains course concepts and help students with assignments and problems.
Answers student questions and provides academic guidance.
Helps students develop effective study and problem-solving skills.
Tracks student progress and provide feedback.
