Stepdown RN

Title: RN ICU Stepdown
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Floating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week; D/E/N rotating

• Experience: 2 years required

• Required: PCU/Stepdown, high-acuity stroke, neurosurgery, and telemetry experience

• License: Active NY RN license only

• Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred

• Schedule: Weekends, holidays, on-call/callback, and charge duties per unit needs

• Unit: Mixed-acuity neurosurgery floor with an 8-bed high-acuity stepdown unit

• Skills: Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar/subdural drains, 3% NS, Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clipping, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management
