Description Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts (3pm - 11:30pm) with rotating weekends.

Under supervision, this position is responsible for decontaminating, operationally checking, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation and implants throughout the hospital. Operates steam autoclave, H2O2 hydrogen peroxide sterilizers, sonic equipment, automated washers, and heat sealers, store, date, rotate, and distribute reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation.

Required Qualifications
Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement. Within 1 year of hire, National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Within 1 year of hire, National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution 1 year of experience or Graduate from a central service program.

The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
