Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics.  Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring.  Ability to take a lead role in workflow and problem-solve equipment malfunctions.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • One (1) year of previous job-related experience in Central Supply and/or Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.
