  • Experience: Prior sterile processing experience preferred
  • Pay Rate: $32.88/hour

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies
  • Assemble instruments and devices across multiple service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packing
  • Operate sterilization equipment such as sterilizers and steam sterilizers
  • Manage high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing
  • Maintain sterile storage areas and ensure proper inventory tracking
  • Collaborate as an OR liaison when needed
  • Utilize Censitrac tracking system for traceability and compliance
  • Adapt to floating between facilities within the organization

What You Need
  • Current certification in sterile processing (CBSPD or CRCST)
  • Previous experience in all areas of sterile processing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and float to other facilities as required

About the Assignment

This assignment involves working within a busy surgical services department that emphasizes infection control, instrument management, and collaboration with surgical teams. The technician will handle all aspects of instrument sterilization, decontamination, and storage, contributing to the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
