What Youll Do
Perform decontamination of surgical items including drills, Da Vinci equipment, and scopes
Follow sterilization processes using sterrad and steam sterilizers
Handle high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope management
Manage sterile storage and supply organization
Collaborate with OR staff as a liaison and assist with case carts
Track cases using Censitrac or similar systems
Move case carts, separate soiled items, and prepare carts for upcoming procedures
Respond to OR calls and coordinate sterilization workflows
What You Need
Required:
Valid CBSPD or CRCST certification (through HSPA/IAHCSMM)
Prior sterile processing experience in a clinical setting
Ability to work consistent evening shifts (2PM-10:30PM)
Eligibility restrictions: No previous permanent staff, return travelers, or local residents within 50 miles of Columbus; current contractors may extend if within contract limits
Preferred:
Experience with high-level disinfection and scope management
Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system
