ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Guest Service - Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the operation
- Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service in responding promptly to guests’ needs
- Committed to making every guest is satisfied
- Meets or exceeds guest satisfaction measures
- Ensures hotel standards and services contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service
- Implements and practices guest service initiatives and performs to Hotel Standards
Steward Operations - Maintain a sanitary environment for F&B preparation and storage as well as provide clean service ware and utensils for the entire F&B operation.
- Adhere to established standards of safety, productivity and performance.
- Perform dish and equipment washing and silver polishing activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the back of house areas, which include main kitchen, storage areas, dumpsters, loading dock, staff dining room, and warehousing areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of house equipment.
- Anticipate needs of chefs and aid in transport of food and plate-up.
- Assist management in any other manner deemed necessary for the well being of the operation
- Must adhere to the company employee handbook at all times
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
- Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Other duties as required
