Role Name: STIBO Senior Developer (hands-on, non-architect)

Position Summary The Senior STEP Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing complex configurations within the Stibo STEP MDM/PIM platform. This role delivers high-quality workflows, UIs, JavaScript Business Rules, and integrations that support enterprise MDM and data governance programs. The Senior Developer also mentors junior team members and collaborates closely with architects and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
7–10 years of experience in MDM/PIM solution development.
Strong hands on experience with Stibo STEP workflows, WebUI configuration, and business rule scripting.
Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, JSON, and integration technologies (REST/SOAP).
Solid understanding of system design, data modeling, and MDM principles.
Experience supporting STEP in production environments (enhancements, break/fix, performance tuning).
Strong documentation, communication, and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Full lifecycle implementation experience with STEP.
Experience in enterprise data governance or data quality initiatives.
Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and migration tooling.
Prior consulting or technical leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Application management production support for the STIBO STEP platform, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Perform break/fix activities, defect remediation, and minor enhancements while meeting agreed SLA commitments.
Monitor application health, troubleshoot performance issues, and support platform stability and availability.
Coordinate with business users, offshore teams, and third-party vendors to resolve production issues and support releases.
Participate in on-call support, release deployments, change management, and post-implementation validation activities.
Maintain knowledge articles, support documentation, and operational runbooks to improve service delivery and reduce recurring incidents
Design and build advanced STEP workflows, UI components, and process automation.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot JavaScript Business Rules.
Lead enhancements, continuous improvement initiatives, and major platform updates.
Implement API integrations using REST/SOAP and structured data formats.
Ensure STEP solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architecture standards.
Mentor junior developers and guide best practices.
Participate in technical design sessions and architecture discussions.
Document platform configurations, data flows, and solution designs.
Collaborate with business teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
