This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, welding, and assembling metal components for both custom and production projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and thrives in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Required Experience & Skills Previous metal fabrication and welding experience required Proficiency with MIG welding required Stick welding experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Strong measuring and layout skills Ability to cut, fit, grind, and finish metal components accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Fabricate metal parts and assemblies using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Perform MIG welding on a variety of fabrication projects Utilize Stick welding techniques as required by project specifications Cut, grind, fit, and finish components to required dimensions and tolerances Operate fabrication equipment including saws, plasma cutters, grinders, and drill presses Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Fabrication shop experience Welding certifications or ability to obtain certification Experience with custom fabrication, short-run production, or production welding Forklift or overhead crane experience TIG welding experience a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive movement throughout the shift Ability to safely handle metal materials and fabrication equipment Comfortable working in a fabrication and welding environment for extended periods Work Environment Metal fabrication and welding shop environment Exposure to welding operations, fabrication equipment, noise, heat, sparks, and raw materials Fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and safety PPE required at all times while performing welding and fabrication duties Why You'll Want This Opportunity 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available Stable full-time position with overtime potential Opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication projects Long-term employment opportunity with advancement potential Team-oriented environment focused on craftsmanship and quality Ready to Apply?
