TradeWorX is hiring a high-priority Stick Welder for a shop-based welding opportunity in the Lititz, PA area. This role is ideal for an experienced SMAW welder who can produce consistent, quality welds in a fabrication/shop environment and is ready to start immediately.
Pay & Schedule:
$23.00–$26.00 per hour
Approximately 50 hours per week
Overtime expected based on weekly hours
Start date: August 31, 2026
Minimum two-week assignment
Shop-based work in the Lititz, PA area

Job Duties:
Perform SMAW/stick welding on assigned components and fabricated materials
Set up welding equipment, leads, electrodes, and work areas for production
Complete welds using proper technique, travel speed, heat control, and electrode selection
Prepare base material through cleaning, grinding, fitting, and surface preparation as required
Read and follow weld instructions, measurements, layouts, and shop specifications
Inspect completed welds for appearance, penetration, consistency, and defects
Perform basic grinding, cleanup, and rework when needed
Follow shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe welding practices
Requirements:
2–3 years of hands-on stick welding/SMAW experience
Ability to perform stick welding independently with limited supervision
Working knowledge of electrodes, weld preparation, and basic welding procedures
Experience working in a fabrication, manufacturing, or welding shop environment preferred
Ability to maintain consistent weld quality throughout the shift
Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
Reliable transportation to the Lititz, PA area
OSHA 10 preferred
Ideal Candidate:
Strong hands-on experience with SMAW/stick welding
Comfortable discussing welding positions, materials, electrodes, and prior fabrication work
Able to set up and complete welds independently
