Stick Welder / Kiln Car Repair Pay: 1719/hour, starting pay based on experience and skills Schedule: MondayFriday Hours: 5:00 AM1:00 PM Job Summary We are looking for a dependable Welder/Kiln Car Repair Technician to perform welding, metalworking, maintenance, and repairs on production equipment and kiln cars. Responsibilities
Perform maintenance welding and metalworking.
Repair and maintain kiln cars and production equipment.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and technical procedures.
Complete required maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and required PPE.
Lift 2550 pounds regularly.
Requirements
Experience with maintenance welding.
Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
Knowledge of hand and power tools.
Must be dependable and safety-conscious.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience/training.
Interview / Weld Test Candidates will be required to complete a weld test during the interview. Candidates should bring their own welding gear to the interview. Straight-line weld and welding 2 pieces of metal together. Supervisor just wants to see his ability to complete a simple weld with a stick welder.
