STNA Train-the-Trainer Primary Instructor (PI) ODH Certification Preferred, or willingness and ability to complete the TTT program immediately upon hire
Licensure, absent any pending disciplinary actions.
RN must have minimum of two years’ experience (3200 hours) caring for elderly or chronically ill of any age through employment in long-term care facility, geriatrics department, home health agency, or hospital providing care to chronically ill individuals
LPN must have minimum of two years’ experience (3200 hours) caring for elderly or chronically ill of any age through employment in long-term care facility
Experience in teaching preferred.
Provide instruction of clinical skills to students in Skills Lab for future use in clinical setting.
Provide supervision at clinical site rotations as students perform clinical skills with the elderly.
Maintain accurate and complete records for state of Ohio as required.
Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional curriculum as defined by Ohio Department of Health.
Basic first aid/CPR Certified.

Helps students make appropriate choices and grow academically. Promotes creativity, critical-thinking, cultural awareness, democratic values, empathy, ethical conduct and self-reliance skills.
