Stock Accounting Specialist

Amentum is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Stock Accounting Specialist to maintain accurate financial and logistical accountability of inventory and materiel, to wit: reconciling inventory records, transactions, receipts, issues, adjustments, and other stock accounting information to ensure accurate visibility of assets and inventory balances throughout the Indo-Pacific in support of Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may include exercises, contingencies, surge operations, and OCONUS travel.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain stock accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Reconcile inventory records and stock balances.
• Research discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Track receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and losses.
• Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
• Validate inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare stock accounting reports and discrepancy documentation.
• Coordinate with supply, warehouse, property, and finance personnel.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation supporting inventory accountability.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational procedures. responsiveness, and interoperability.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of inventory, stock accounting, supply, logistics, or related experience.
• Experience supporting audits and property accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Large-scale or multi-site warehouse operations.
• DoD stock accounting or supply experience.
• Military logistics or supply experience.
• Experience with government inventory systems.
• Familiarity with government-furnished property. Military distribution center or commercial 3PL experience.
• HAZMAT/MHE; Lean Six Sigma, OSHA, APICS/ASCM or equivalent.
• Experience supporting USINDOPACOM, PACFLT, MARFORPAC, PACAF, USARPAC and SOCPAC·
• Have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Top-Secret Clearance.

Compensation & Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $135K - $150K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
