Provides appropriate bulk levels of selected inventory supplies on a scheduled basis to Medical Center cost centers.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Performs tasks related to the accurate and timely issuance of bulk inventory supplies in accordance with pre?determined delivery schedules in order to maintain adequate supply levels throughout the Medical Center.
    • 1.1 Prepares and issues bulk supplies as selected, utilizing pre?printed bulk supply requisitions, documenting quantity issued, time order started and time order was completed as audited by supervisor.
  • 2. Provides accurate and timely issuance of credit for materials returned to bulk inventory.
    • 2.1 Audits and inspects material prior to forwarding credit requisition to data entry as observed by supervisor.
  • 3. Performs various departmental related duties as assigned by Manager in order to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
    • 3.1 Verifies incoming materials, replenishes shelves in order to maintain accurate materials available for distribution, reports variances to Quality Assurance Clerk and Manager.
  • 4. Follows established safety procedures in the performance of all duties in order to ensure a safe environment.
    • 4.1 Operates material handling equipment to include propane fork truck and electric pallet truck in a safe manner as identified in initial orientation with no more than 2 non'serious violations within this evaluation period as observed by supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Graduation from high school or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Six (6) to twelve (12) months experience replenishing stock.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment. Must possess basic math skills. Knowledge of medical products desirable.
