You will manage the flow of the Pet Care Center to meet the needs of guests and their pets. Your responsibilities include stocking shelves, cleaning the store, working the cash register, and providing an excellent guest experience.Position ResponsibilitiesMaintain and inventory the entire Pet Care Center.Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed.Process register transactions efficiently.Prove proficiency within our selling model and support guest interactions.Show strong interest in animal welfare and support animal care procedures.Complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise.Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to the Leader on Duty as needed.Other Essential DutiesUtilize selling behaviors to provide an amazing guest experience.Contribute to a safe environment, following safety protocols.Be a part of a collaborative culture that supports pets' health and wellness.Engage in your career development through training and growth programs.Basic QualificationsMinimum high school diploma (or GED) or equivalent work experience.Proficiency in mathematics and above‑average communication skills.Professional appearance and genuine interest in animals and their care.Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills for public interaction.In addition to a high school diploma or equivalent, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics and basic accounting relationships and exhibit exceptional communication skills.Supervisory ResponsibilityNoneWork EnvironmentThe majority of duties are conducted indoors; bending, kneeling, moving merchandise up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods are required.
