The Stocker - Meat position in the Meat department involves providing prompt and courteous customer service, stocking shelves by handling boxes and individual items, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
Essential duties include organizing products, inspecting for HACCP compliance, managing inventory and product rotation, verifying accurate pricing, and ensuring cleanliness and safety by removing hazards and trash. Coordination with Hi-Lo operators ensures shelves are stocked and safe, and low stock levels are promptly reported.
Physical demands include standing, reaching, bending, and lifting heavy objects frequently, often in cold/freezing environments with equipment in motion.
