What a Stocking Clerk will do:- Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools
- Compile stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard
- Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices
- Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, as needed
- Operate gas- or electric-powered forklift truck to move, stack, tier, load, or unload materials in and around plant, warehouse, or stockyard
- Load and operate the stress relieving oven properly
- Perform daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency
- Inventory materials and supply workers with materials as needed
- Demonstrate knowledge of MRP transaction performance (e.g., issues, receipts)
What you need to be a Stocking Clerk:- Vocational or high school diploma or equivalent
- 6,000 hours of experience to perform work proficiently
- Must adhere to the Inventory Security Policy to comply with Department of Defense requirements
