Pay Rate: $18.50
Location: Camarillo, CA
Work Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with Operations regarding specific material management and movement needs, including kit pulls, kanban, milk runs, cycle counts, and inventory transactions to ensure timely delivery to the shop floor and inventory accuracy.
  • Perform material management activities within the systems and procedures, using the SAP operating system and the certified operator system.
  • Accurately manage inventory using SAP and other computerized databases.
  • Conduct cycle counting for accurate inventory counts.
  • Handle materials associated with receiving, repackaging, transacting, counting, and stocking parts within the main company Stock Room and manufacturing floor teams and cells.
  • Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading, or other records.
  • Examine and unpack incoming shipments, record shortages, and reject damaged items.
  • Route items to various departments and examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing of Stock to the manufacturing floor.
  • Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all material by utilizing Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receiving log.
  • Assist management in recycling material in Receiving and Stockroom.
  • Cooperate with representatives from other departments to provide Receiving and Stockroom information as requested.
  • Ensure that all documents and materials received in the warehouse and Stockroom adhere to Plant Policy.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possess organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach, and climb ladders throughout, and lift 50 pounds consistently without assistance.
  • Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or any MRP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy (detail-oriented) without missing deadlines.
  • Basic math and computer skills for accurate input.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
