Mars Petcare- Stockroom Clerk- Columbus, OH
Pay: $26.87/hour

Shift Schedule:
Shift: 1st (Days)
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Hours: 8am- 4:30pm (Flexible)
Description of Role:
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for managing inventory and stockroom operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using SAP for inventory tracking.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in a stockroom or inventory related position
Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail
Physical Requirements:
Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification
Strong working knowledge of SAP
Experience in a manufacturing environment
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP to process stock movements, transfers, and adjustments
Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and parts.
Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy.
Identify, resolve and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies promptly.
Ensure proper labeling and organized storage of stockroom items.
Adhere to safety and quality standards related to inventory management.
Facilitate transfer of items between the warehouse and the stockroom.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom area.
