HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for an Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced aviation environment where accuracy, organization, and efficiency are highly valued.
This position requires close attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and storing materials
- Verifying part numbers and quantities
- Organizing and maintaining accurate records of inventory
- Issuing materials, parts, and supplies that support our production and repair teams.
- Ensure that components are properly tracked and stored according to industry regulations and company standards.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and ensure stockroom cleanliness and organization
Skills and Education Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to follow written procedures and adhere to company policies and safety standards
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk throughout the facility for extended periods of time
- Operate material handling equipment
- Visual acuity to identify small components
- Occasional exposure to shop / test environment requiring the use of PPE
