Stockroom Inventory Coordinator
Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading material Science organization to identify a Stockroom Inventory Coordinator for an opportunity in Maplewood, MN.
Responsibilities
- Pull together orders based on the needs of each stockroom and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Balance inventory to minimize overstock while reducing out-of-stock items.
- Verify incoming orders, put away inventory, and organize stockroom shelves.
- Update paperwork and assist with returns, credits, and backorders.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and coworkers regarding inventory needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
- Support purchasing and inventory-related activities as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory, stockroom, materials, warehouse, or a related environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately track and maintain inventory levels.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with inventory records and documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform occasional sweeping and trash removal.
- Experience with SAP, purchasing processes, or SDS documentation is a plus.

- Location model: 100% onsite
- Schedule: Flexible/core business hours
- Position Type: 1-year contract with potential to extend
- Pay range approved: $22-$25.50/hr depending on experience
