Overview:

Primary Work Location:  Lyndhurst, NJ

 

General Summary: The Store Analyst will support the execution of the company’s financial plans (GMROI, sales, and margin) by reviewing store opportunities and strategically allocating product to drive business for their departments. Ensure that all initial and replenishment allocations are flawlessly executed to provide a “best in class” experience for our customer.  Collaborate with merchants, planners, distribution centers, field organization and other cross-functional partners to guarantee appropriate mix, depth, and breadth of inventory at an individual store level. 

Responsibilities:

•    Assist with the inventory plan at the store level
•    Execute initial set-up, replenishment, and transfers of products to maximize sales and optimize inventory
•    Achieve turn objectives at a department and/or division level
•    Manage individual store inventory analyzing weeks in stock, weeks of supply, open to ship, balance of ownership relative to deliveries and flow
•    Manage continuous flow of inventory through distribution centers in collaboration with DC partners
•    Review product performance at style and store level (dept/season/store/category/style/size)
•    Pull reports and data for departmental use
•    Attend regular meetings with multiple cross-functional teams
•    Develop strategies relative to product that is underperforming or exceeding expectations
•    Ensure stores are clear on replenishment strategies, new flows, and preparation for future events
•    Manage allocations to support sales forecast, receipt flows, markdown strategies and future on order
•    Collaborate with Senior Store Analyst to understand weekly strategies and execute allocations to reflect these
•    Create and analyze seasonal size profiles and size scales to determine orders for future seasons 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience required (4+ years)
•    1-2 years of experience in related role (Inventory Management, Allocation Analyst, Stock, Inventory Analyst etc.)
•    Store line sales or stock experience is a plus
•    Strategic analysis skills
•    Meet and strive to increase productivity standards; look for ways to improve and promote quality
•    Basic Math Skills: intermediate Microsoft Windows Applications, specifically Excel
•    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
•    Strong written and verbal communication
•    Ability to present and recommend strategies to build a business case/develop a point of view
•    Adapt to a fast-paced ever-changing environment
•    Travel may be required, based on business needs
•    Adhere to regular in-office presence to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
•    Must have authorization to work in the United States.

•    Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
•    Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
•    Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day 
•    Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day 
•    Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
•    Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
•    Ability to carry equipment, moving boxes/samples, etc.

Pay Range: USD $57,200.00 - USD $104,000.00 /Yr.
