Store Assistant Manager FT The Store Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the Store Manager on all store operations. The Store Assistant Manager plays a vital role in guiding developing and motivating a team of brand advocates to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the companys brand values. Responsibilities Partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability by ensuring that customer engagement merchandising operations and community connection are all consistent and compliant with company standards. Create amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration ensuring the team is motivated to deliver memorable experiences. Partner with the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising directives to maintain the companys brand strategies. Ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor. Partner with the Store Manager to ensure compliance and adherence to loss prevention and safety policies and procedures standards and practices and company directive. Assist in various store operations including training operations sales visual merchandising inventory management store administration cleaning duties when necessary and customer service. Foster an environment of development and accountability. Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system. Assist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates. Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role. Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate people resources and services to address business goals and needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of retail operations including sales customer service merchandising inventory control store budget preparation and loss prevention. Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours including day evening weekends andor holidays. Understanding of how to develop staff with experience in staffing coaching counseling etc. Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
