Position Overview:

The Store Associate provides friendly and personalized customer service while supporting daily store operations. This role assists customers with product selection and transactions, promotes the DSW Loyalty program, and supports in-store and digital shopping services. Store Associates also help maintain an organized sales floor and stockroom, receive and replenish merchandise, and work with the management team to create a positive and efficient customer experience.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, personalized service based on their needs.
• Assist customers with product selection, questions, purchases, and digital orders.
• Promote the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Process customer transactions accurately while following company policies and procedures.
• Receive, organize, replenish, and maintain merchandise according to DSW standards.
• Complete fulfillment tasks, including locating, inspecting, packaging, and preparing products for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
• Collaborate with team members and management to support daily operations, training, and a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of work experience is required.
• Comfortable operating registers, processing transactions, and using mobile technology.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-service-focused demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting time-sensitive expectations.
• Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
